About

The "Queen of Hills" tour takes you to Darjeeling, a picturesque hill station in the eastern Himalayas of West Bengal. Known for its lush tea gardens, scenic views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks, and a blend of cultural experiences, Darjeeling is a perfect getaway for nature lovers and peace seekers. The itinerary also includes an excursion to Mirik, a serene town famous for its lake and Indo-Nepal border market.

Rishikesh: Known as the "Queen of the Hills," Darjeeling is celebrated for its scenic beauty, colonial charm, and the world-famous Darjeeling tea. The town offers breathtaking views of the Eastern Himalayas, including Mount Kanchenjunga.

Tiger Hill: A key attraction for sunrise views over the Himalayan peaks, Tiger Hill is a must-visit for its spectacular vistas.

Ghoom Monastery: One of the oldest Tibetan monasteries in Darjeeling, it plays a significant role in the region’s Buddhist heritage.

Mirik: This tranquil town is centered around Mirik Lake, offering a relaxing atmosphere away from the bustle of Darjeeling. It is perfect for a peaceful day trip with options for boating, horse riding, and enjoying the serene views.

Day wise Itinerary

    Location - Arrival NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport – Darjeeling
  • On arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (413 Ft / 126 Mts) will be met by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Darjeeling. Check in and overnight at Hotel.

    Location - Darjeeling
  • Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (at direct payment) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.

    Location - Darjeeling
  • After breakfast transfer to Mirik. Full day excursion of Pashupati Nagar (Indo-Nepal border) for shopping Mirik Lake (Horse riding & Boat is available around the lake on direct payment basis). Evening back to Darjeeling and Overnight at Hotel.

    Location - Darjeeling - Bagdogra Airport
  • After breakfast checkout of the hotel & Reach the Bagdogra Airport / Railway Station for your onward connection or way back home.
